		<description>um...speaking of books, i was gonna leave this comment anyway, but you wrote a blog about books/God, so now it gets to sort of relate:

i'm reading velvet elvis by rob bell &#38; he was talking about the way jewish disciples learned from their rabbis with the yokes &#38; all of that. anyway, i started thinking about how that's a really effective way to learn, &#38; it got me thinking on how/when i started taking the learning about God bit seriously. i realized that i had someone who  was a teacher to me, tho he made sure that the Real Teacher got all the credit. he was you. i understand a lot of things the way i do because i had you to help me understand them. part of why i like rob bell's writing is because he looks at God's word as a cohesive story. he understands the contexts, and that's something i remember you made a big deal about too, &#38; so it appealed to me, &#38; God has used that to help me understand a lot more.
so, i wanted to let you know that i praise God for you &#38; all that you have been in my life, because it's been a lot &#38; it's been amazing. God bless, billy!</description>
