VHS is history. How did you manage to get your hands on this piece of prehistorical format? I hope you got it for free at least…

after years of forced wiggles exposure due to a fanatical child, i applaud your vcr.

Hey, “The Wiggles” are cool! And some of their music is just so dang catchy. I can’t tell you the number of times I’m walking around the office with “fruit salad, yummy yummy” stuck in my head.
Seriously though, did you know that the Wiggles is about the only show on Disney that has a “Christmas” special instead of a “holiday” special, and actually mentions Jesus on it?? I don’t think any other kids show produced in the US is brave enough to do that!

JVP,
That rocks! Seriously man, we sing a ton of “Fruit Salad” at the Chia house.

Nice Billy, or should I say Greg Wiggle?
October 4, 2007 at 5:39 am
I always thought Greg was a coolest. At least you’re not Jeff.

Thank you, thank you! I needed a good laugh today. I love that you have such a great sense of humor!

Jeff is cool too! Jammin’ on the keys. Though he has that sleep apnea thing to overcome. That would make living day to day as “Jeff” difficult.

However, I’ve never experienced the Wiggles. I come from the land of Rainbow, Raggy Dolls, Button Moon, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat…

Laura Anne,
wow, I have never heard of those before. We checked out Postman Pat and my daughter was diggin’ it.

Postman Pat rocks! They had both Postman Pat and Fireman Sam in Scots Gaelic too. Oh, and Dangermouse (Dangermouse is possibly not so good in that it’s a wee bitty like the James Bond of cartoon characters….just without the ladies…).
I had a Postman Pat pedal car when I was a toddler. I loved it!!
Bizarrely, was listening to the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning, and the DJs were trying themselves out as Children’s Entertainers after finding out that The Wiggles are millionaires.

If she likes Postman Pat perhaps check out Bob the Builder? He also is very cool!!

Yeah, my girl is a Danger Mouse fan

Remember S-VHS? Ha ha…Ah, and what’s a DVD? It’s all about Blue Ray and HD-DVD’s now!

Ahh…in Scotland Dangermouse is called ‘Doni-Murdo’ - basically cos the gaelic translation doesn’t fit the DM symbol on Dangermouse’s chest. So they picked the most common 2 names in the Scottish Highlands and Islands - Donald and Murdo and combined them to come up with the genius name of ‘Doni-Murdo’.
